Enjoyed the climax, almost like a movie ending. The build up in the initial chapters takes some perseverance to go through, but worth it.

I loved The Silent Patient on Audible. The narration heightens the tension, making every pause unsettling. Twists land harder in audio, and the psychological atmosphere feels intimate and immersive. I finished it quickly, stunned, satisfied, and thrilled .

The Silent Patient: by Alex Michaelides

This book flowed like a smooth river, two story lines dancing with each other. I was captivated till the end, the twist was unexpected, which made me scream out "Noooo" while in public, and the conclusion was gratifying. Also, there was a monologue by the narrator at one point about "psychological wounds" that was filled with so much conviction I had to rewind again and again. It once again proves that the most interesting thing in the world is the human mind and that childhood experiences shape our sense of who we think we are and what we deserve.
