Towards the ending of the story I could guess that something was not fitting. The ending truly surprised me as I could have never guessed it. Overall it's a wonderful book with a good amount of suspense. For mystery and thriller lovers, this book is a must listen.

From the first chapter there was a sense of there being a missing piece like there's something more to it. Overall the book had me gripped throughout. I would love to see a movie adaptation of this book! It would be thrilling

I felt the ending was too sad given the pacing and richness of the plot. The story doesn't have a hero/heroine, nobody wins. It's a tragic tale again, like The Girl Who Left. But very well written!

The characters have so much detail, it could've been used to create a "bad guy gets his/her desert" and the good guys had put on a triumphant effort to make that happen". The plot was there!
