Story
The 19th century was an exciting time of initiative and enterprise around the world. If John D. Rockefeller was creating unimagined wealth in the United States that he would put to the service of the nation, a Parsi family with humble roots was doing the same in India. The Tatas is a tribute to a line of visionaries who have a special place in the hearts and minds of ordinary Indians. Written by seasoned journalist Girish Kuber, this is also the only book that tells the complete Tata story spanning almost 200 years.

TATA Group - Always Excelling
Very gripping story about the top most group in our country which has excelled in trying circumstances. Wonder what heights the country would have reached sans license raj. While we may have missed many opportunities during the pre independence days, it is what we lost during 50 plus years after independence, which has costed us the most. But for those inefficient and corrupt decades we would have been a very prosperous country.

Great company with wonderful values
The book was written with a lot of research and I was fascinating to know about Tatas. This certainly puts the seeds for all readers to live some of those values in one’s professional life. Every Indian who listens to this book will certainly feel proud of Tata’s achievements. I am sure this will also inculcate the ethics and values to the young generation of entrepreneurs. The listening experience did not live up to the standard of the book. Plenty of mistakes while reading and it was not edited well. The book’s audio experience is a premium service. That did not meet the expectations. I have been listening to a lot of audiobooks in Audible for more than a year, never experienced these many mistakes, double reading and incorrectly reading issues. It appeared as if no one from the publishing company has not heard it before releasing it..
