Remarkable story of a most remarkable person.
This is one of the most important and most remarkable books I have read in recent years.The story of Kamala Harris is an inspiration not only for the American nation but for people all over the world who are striving day in and day out to better the lives of their family and their own.She emerges not only as a person with strong values and convictions but also as a person who is equally good at getting things done.
I rate this book as good as President Obama latest book - A Promised Land.Am looking forward to the book Kamala Harris may write on her work as Vice President of the USA.

Sincere and hands on
I enjoyed this book although certain parts were difficult to relate to since I live in a different country.
I admire the way she tackled and handled every situation, never backing down.

Extra ordinary and inspiring story
The Truths We Hold is an extra ordinary and inspiring story about how conviction to hold high standards and a purpose in life can help you achieve your goals. It is not fare to say this way but this book is far more enriching and inspiring that Promise Land by Barak Obama and I would say very close to Becoming by Michelle Obama

Autobiography of a Human rights Champion
Wish Kamala Harris is able transform her vision into reality. USA is the front runner of the world, where meritocracy thrives. Flaws exists everywhere. But by articulating it openly we are hopeful of finding a solution. Hope the new VP of USA is successful in her endeavour to create a better world.
