Look, I didn't want to be a half-blood. I never asked to be the son of a Greek God. I was just a normal kid, going to school, playing basketball, skateboarding. The usual. Until I accidentally vaporized my maths teacher. That's when things started really going wrong. Now I spend my time fighting with swords, battling monsters with my friends, and generally trying to stay alive. This is the one where Zeus, God of the Sky, thinks I've stolen his lightning bolt - and making Zeus angry is a very bad idea.

Publisher's Summary
Penguin presents the audiobook edition of The Tyrant's Tomb by Rick Riordan.
You will get to the Tiber alive. You will start to Jive.
The former God Apollo is having a pretty rough time of it. Well, for one thing, he's called Lester. But being an awkward mortal teenager is the least of his worries.
Though he and his friends (some of them) have emerged from the Burning Maze, they still have a triumvirate to defeat, oracles to rescue and prophecies to decipher so that the world may be saved, and Lester can become Apollo once again.
But right now, Caligula is sailing to San Francisco to deal with Camp Jupiter personally, and they have to get their first. Or risk its destruction.....

Another win for Riordan
It was Percy Jackson that made fall in love with reading 3 years ago and though my reading taste has changed and matured I still read every book of Riordan verse till now it was great to see Frank Hazel and Reyana along with a new character called Levenya! Rick Riordan never disappoints
Rick Riordan never disappoints! He is my 'J. K. Rowling' so to speak, having grown up with his books and after waiting over a year for this book and I listened to it all within 24 hours of buying it. Rick has an absolute talent for mixing humor and seriousness without either being overwhelming. I love that Apollo has embraced his humanity and realized that he wasn't as perfect as he thought when he was a God. He has truly changed for the better and I can only hope when the series comes to an end he truly will remember what it's like to be human. I await The Tower of Nero anxiously! I'll just have to reread the other series from start to finish again.

Best book in the series so far
Once again the Reader did an excellent job and really brought the story to life. (Seriously, pay the man well, Audible) The story is probably the darkest so far but still has room for comedy that always hits the right note. This is my new favourite book in the series.

Really enjoying this series.
I thi think I may be enjoying this series more than the percy Jackson and the new propercey series I love Apollo/Lester P and meg I am finding very funny and don't remember laughing so much on percy Jackson 2 series, though it covers more horrors and a load of nasty monsters it still managed to stay light hearted, will be sorry when the series ends.

Amazing
In quarantine I’ve revisited the Percy Jackson series, Heroes of Olympus, listened to the Magnus Chase series, the Kane chronicles, and moved onto this. Every single one has been brilliant, and this has been no exception. It’s really gripping, and I can’t wait for the Tower of Nero to come out. 😌 I hadn’t liked the narrator very much in this book, but the story kept me going through
