Publisher's Summary

From USA Today best selling Author Meghan Quinn, comes a hilarious romantic comedy that will touch your heart and cause you to roar with laughter as you escape into Rosie Bloom's attempt to write a romance novel.

"Her bosom heaved at an alarming rate as his rough hand found its way down to her soft, yet wiry briar patch...."

Can you say briar patch in a romance novel? What about breasts? Do bosoms really heave?

Goodness, I have no idea what I'm doing. I’m a virgin attempting to write a romance novel and I'm having an impossible time trying to write a passionate and swoon-worthy love scene worthy of being published, thanks to my lack of experience.

My two best friends encourage me to drop the pen, step outside my comfort zone, and gain some real life experience through multiple dating facets such as blind dates, online profiles, and random hookups. But losing my "flower" is proving to be much tougher than expected....

This is the story of my awkward, humiliating, and slightly terrifying life, but like all romance novels, I know it will end in a happily ever after. At least that's what I keep telling myself.

Warning: Listen in the confines of your own home due to random outbursts of laughter. If you are addicted to cliffhangers, getting your heart ripped out of your chest, and feeling like a bulldozer just plowed through your stomach, then this audiobook is not for you. if you like peeing your pants and crying from laughing so hard, then please continue listening.

Sweet and oh so fun!

This is a great series full of laughs and love.

- The Virgin Romance Novelist –

This story is sweet and full of laughs. And that ending, love!

Rosie is 23, a virgin, and trying to write a romance novel. She needs experience and is ready to put herself out there and date. Let's just say that what ensues is filled with laughter, awkward moments, and some heartache.

I truly enjoyed this story. This could have been titled - Rosie's Crazy Dating Adventures, LOL. If it could happen to this girl, it did. Honestly, there were times I couldn’t believe that a 23 year old could be so naive about so many things, but it sure kept the story interesting. I loved Rosie's roommates Delaney and Henry. The three are best friends and share everything, and I mean everything. Get ready for some laughs and to be swooned.

This story is entertaining, heartwarming, and leaves a smile on your face.

- The Randy Romance Novelist –

Oh gosh, Rosie and Henry are so cute together. I loved getting to see them as a couple, their lives together, and what was to come for them. Rosie’s her quirky self and Henry is so sweet and patient. They’re a great couple. Such a fun, sweet story.

What a great read! I laughed so hard my husband begged me to let him listen. Andi is one of my favourite narrators and she outdid herself again!

so...

These books are hysterical! There were so many places that I'd find myself laughing so loudly and not caring where I was or who was seeing me! Great series. And the narration was top notch!

Mud Fence

Fair warning, this review is long, rambling and may make less sense than the book, but I don't give anything away.
With the incredibly mixed reviews, I decided that the book would probably be worth the credit. WRONG I'm not even sure I can return this book as I'm so embarrassed I bought the hype. The book was so very close to being phenomenal. All romances pretty much stretch reality, however.....
Making her repressed and uptight rather than completely ignorant about sex in its entirety, (ie Heidi's Guide to Four Letter Words), would have made all the difference. NO 23 year old that has graduated from college and has sexually active roommates can be so out of touch that she doesn't even know what masterbation means or is. She's dumber than a mud fence. Just taking core classes youy will have heard the word masterbation and everyone under 50 googles everything.
Then she starts "learning", via help from previously oblivious roommates, and like magic she suddenly starts doing crap NO person who had spent the first ¼ of her life like she did, do that fast. I'll say no more about that other than if you find that even remotely believable in any way, youy become as dumb as a mud fence.
Okay, now the author can't decide what the character is, she can't say something, or doesn't know what it is and in the next sentence it does a flip flop. That is pretty much how it seems to go. Now in book or out it's all about the mud fence.
It's unfortunate that Ms. Quinn didn't hit the mark in the believability of characters as she did the comedy, which was on the nose, there are some truly funny interactions. So, I wasn't thrilled, but if you want funny, when the rest of the content is so out of the world nonsensical, then you'll be happy. If major inconsistencies bother you, don't read.

5 thousand stars

This by far the best read I have had in years!...I don’t think I have laughed this hard from a book ever. The story is so lovable and down to earth. And though I can’t same Im proud of it I relate to her bad luck on so many levels. And the love makes it all okay!

So awkward

My book club decided we should listen to this audiobook... I’m glad we decided to listen to something I typically wouldn’t choose, but this just wasn’t for me.

The narrators are great, they did an incredible job at making you feel the characters embarrassment, awkwardness, sadness, anger, and happiness. Having said that, this audiobook seems like two books in one and I barely made it through the first book. I stopped to write this review and delete the audiobook about an hour into the second book.

I give kudos to the author for her writing. She uses her words carefully so the reader/listener can feel what the characters feel. The characters and the story are ridiculously cringeworthy and listening to Rosy’s dates and mishaps made me face palm more times than I care to count.

If you like romance stories about losing your virginity and a main character that is frustratingly dense and naive, this audiobook is for you.

Hilarious....Please do not listen in Public!

This was a fun read. I can not emphasize please do not read this in public..it is hilarious. The chronicles of a Virgin Naive 23 year old woman that is experiencing alot of bad luck and funny episodes while venturing into the world of relationships and popping the cherry. They could not have hired the best narrator for this book. Andi Arndt was amazing. Rosie and Henry were hilarious and had so much chemistry but couldn't figure out how to get together and date. Delaney was hilarious with all her comments. The descriptions of all the sexual positions or body parts were to die for. This book gets you hooked and baited and you can't stop until you listen till the end. It's nice how we see the friendships evolve into something true and special.

Some issues but otherwise Good read/listen

Delanie gives horrible advice and the balls antics at the party seemed forced. In book 1 I was disappointed that Delanie calling Henry a cherry chaser wasn't addressed.

Hilariously heartfelt!!

I love Rosie and Henry - these two are a super sweet couple and getting to read their entire story in this massive ebook was worth the experience. There are so many laugh out loud moments - especially in the "first" book - that I often had to look away from the book to calm myself down!! The second and third books are still quite funny, but much sweeter and heartfelt! I love this couple!!!
The audio was fabulous and Andi Arndt especially makes this book a joy to listen to!! Would highly recommend the audiobook!!

“I Farted On His Chin”

If you want a laugh out loud audiobook that is brilliantly written and narrated look no further, this is so worth a credit.
I enjoyed every moment, loved this story when I read the book a while ago and Andi did an amazing job bringing our little virgin to life.
