Publisher's Summary
World-renowned best-selling author Carlos Castaneda's selection of his writings on the shamans of ancient Mexico.
Originally drawn to Yaqui Indian spiritual leader don Juan Matus for his knowledge of mind-altering plants, best-selling author Carlos Castaneda soon immersed himself in the sorcerer's magical world entirely. Ten years after his first encounter with the shaman, Castaneda examines his field notes and comes to understand what don Juan knew all along - that these plants are merely a means to understanding the alternative realities that one cannot fully embrace on one's own.

Incredible.
Luís Moreno was born to read and interpret Carlos Castañeda. I am infinitely grateful for the respect he shows towards Carlos' work, and admire greatly his skill as a narrator.

This was just plain awful
The narrator’s voice drags and it seems like everything runs together. It’s like listening to a lecture.

the world of the warrior
Is Castenada making it all up? There are parallels between what he wrotes about and the concepts of manifeststion in one's life. Believe something exists sternly enough and it will manifest . It's a worthy read.

Disappointed
I learned nothing except that when he want to learn something he didn't get to learn it. I was hoping to learn something as well. We were both disappointed.

Words that shift you
Being a long time follower of this adventure I appreciate these precious slices of wisdom. For someone not familiar with the Carlos Casteneda books it may be more difficult to relate, or maybe not?

Fake
After a little research, I found out that the story written as non fiction was probably based off fictional characters. Then found out the author created a cult which hurt alot of people.
