About this listen

Prowling, hunting and fighting amidst the crumbling ruins of one of Delhi's oldest neighbourhoods are the proud Wildings.

These feral cats fear no one, go where they want and do as they please. Battle-scarred tomcats, fierce warrior queens, the Wildings have ruled over Nizamuddin for centuries.

Now there is a new addition to the clan: a pampered house cat with strange powers that could turn their world on its head. And something is stirring in the old Shuttered House - something dark and cruel and dangerous.

A terrifying new enemy emerges from the shadows, and the Wildings will need all the allies they can get as they fight for Nizamuddin - and their lives.

I came to this one after reading the first part. Part 2 introduced many more characters, some were required and some weren't. The plot stayed as intersting as the first one, with this one showing how humans are massively disrupting the life of all creatures around them with all the rampant development. The ending was great as with part 1. I felt I was watching more of a motion picture that listening to a book. there was more of a mystical element to this one than the first part . Tania's voice modulation was fantastic as usual and every character was provided a personality. Nilanjana is a great story teller and I loved how she weaved the actual lives of stray animals into this amazing storytelling.
