Publisher's Summary
The nightmares find me. They steal my breath, slowly suffocating me. I'm scared. I want it to stop. He's supposed to help me. Instead he evokes something forbidden. I know I should run. But I can't. I've made my choice. I want him. There's only one problem.... He's my therapist.

Started Slow
Any additional comments?
Oh boy did the book start slowly. Like 10 chapters of redundancy. I did skip through to chapter 11 after listening to the first 2 chapters. Overall it is a good story. A forbidden love. It does have some hot scenes. Is it worth a credit. I think so.The narrators A+++

Beautiful story
This was a beautiful story. It was deep, and it resonated with me.
It is slow, but if you stick with it, it becomes really good.

Hooked
Hooked from the very beginning. This was a wonderfully unusual book! The end came too soon.

Not typical A. Harrison
Too slow! I love Harrison work, but this story put me to sleep a couple of times. The female character does most of narration, suppressing and damaging Preston. He should be more present, and this story would be more interesting and dynamic. Not my favorite book of Harrison, this story is not for me. Despite this review, Harrison is still one of my favorite authors.

let down
Normally I love her books, this one was boring... her other books are wonder, and I get lost in the story, not this one.. I'm thinking might be the narrator's fault.

A sleeping pill of a book- so boring
I wanted to like this book but it was terrible. It kept putting me to sleep and I finally just skimmed the ebook when I couldn’t listen anY longer. The basic plot was fine but the dialog was terrible , the love story excruciatingly slow and dull, the narration mostly delivered in the monotone voice of Lexi Richmond and and even Aiden Snow’s very flat performance. I liked several of Ave Harrison’s other sibling stories but this series wasn’t as good and this book was the pits. Not worth the purchase even on sale and definitely not worth the credit.

Really amazing story!
What an emotional rollercoaster of a story. Ava really did an amazing job telling Eve's story. It's about way more than just her and Preston. It's her journey through her life and what brings her to Preston. An emotionally heavy book but so worth the read/listen because it's just so beautifully done.
Lexi is damn fantastic in this book. She is a new to me narrator and I was not disappointed. She really nailed the emotional performances of all of the characters she voiced. Aiden is also a new to me narrator and he was amazing as well, even though he only had a few chapters.

Eve and Preston
Wow what an emotional ride. I really did like it. I will say it felt like a long ride. I was holding my breath near the end to finally have joy. I love love Preston. Lexi and Aiden did a great job.

Could have been so much better
This was one of the worst book I have ever listened to on audible. I believe the story line would have been so much better had it not been so drawn out. The female narrator has the saddest voice I have ever heard. Even when she was supposed to be happy she sounded sad. The reading was very slow which made it supper boring for me. I usually enjoy AS but he didn’t do it for me in this one.
Tried to finish but couldn’t. I just felt like shaking her and telling her ‘get over it’.
