Publisher's Summary
Raphael is a dumpsite boy. He spends his days wading through mountains of steaming trash, sifting it, sorting it, breathing it, sleeping next to it.
Then one unlucky-lucky day, Raphael’s world turns upside down. A small leather bag falls into his hands. It’s a bag of clues. It’s a bag of hope. It’s a bag that will change everything.
Soon Raphael and his friends Gardo and Rat are running for their lives. Wanted by the police, it takes all their quick-thinking, fast-talking to stay ahead. As the net tightens, they uncover a dead man’s mission to put right a terrible wrong.
And now it's three street-boys against the world...

Great listening for the whole family
Our entire family was engrossed in the book on our recent trip. Our children range from 10-15 and even us adults loved the different approach taken for this audio book. Having different voices read throughout the book really drew us into the story.

A great family listen.
We really loved this story as a family. Children aged 9 and 11, exciting and interesting listen while we on holiday. Highly recommend. Lots of interesting topics for discussion. A little bit brutal in places if children are sensitive.

Life Learning At Its Best
The narratives within this story are raw, real and memorable. So far, this story has opened a door onto a world that my students had no idea about. Further inquiry learning surrounding world poverty and environmental issues within my class, have since become a focus because of 'Trash'. This is learning at its best - dynamic and motivational. This audio book has also turned my students onto words and reading in general. They now ask for audio books and seek them out independently. Go Andy Mulligan! Joanna

Insightful and shocking
This was a great insight into the life of kids in poor countries and the shocking corruption that maintains that poverty. Interesting and authentic narration with different voices for each character. Story was a gripping adventure and mystery.

Really good :)))
I didn't think it would be that good but once I got started and got into it.. I couldn't stop reading it. Because it is split up into different parts it got a bit confusing and I got confused easily with all the different characters and their point of view.. But overall it was GREAT!
