In reference to UFOs and extraterrestrials, George Adamski has sometimes been referred to as their man on earth. In the early 1950s he was a pioneer in making known his experiences with other space craft and beings. Adamski was ahead of his time. In the beginning even he was not sure what he was learning, what he was seeing from his almost ethereal experiences. Others belittled his claim. Yes, as time went by and others found the courage to come forward, more credence was given to contact as a fact.

George was a man who knew something of the world. He served for five years in the U.S Army cavalry unit on the Mexican border. He traveled throughout the nation, his wife at his side earning a living at whatever job came to hand. All the time he was developing his belief and philosophy into a form he could express to others. But George Adamski was not a preacher, it was not in his makeup to shout from the rooftops. It was his quiet assurance, understanding and joy that attached others to quietly become interested in his ideals. Adamski began teaching his beliefs. In short order his students grew to the hundreds and his lectures were often carried over Southern California radio stations.

In 1964, using a six-inch telescope, he took his first pictures of space craft. He had the pictures but did not know what it was. Neither did the others who saw the event. Even though he did believe there was life on other planets, George thought the distances were too great for interplanetary travel. The following year along with his wife and several associates, Adamski witnessed a group of space craft maneuver in the skies. The display was witnessed by other groups from wide-ranging locations. It was important sightings of UFOs up to that time. George's telepathic contacts with another realm grew into numerous physical sightings of space craft and finally begins from another world.
