A rare phenomenon to say the least, Simon King is the kind of comic that comes along maybe once in a generation. Every performance is an onslaught, an unrelenting attack on the senses. He pushes his audience to keep up with him as his mind jumps around from the topical to the absurd with lightning speed and intensity. Never sure what will happen next, the audience is forced to hold on tight and be prepared for anything. His unmistakable and mind blowing style, powerful commanding stage presence and lightning wit will win you over. But the sheer hilarity and spontaneity of his performance will keep you coming back for more. Simon King is nothing short of a force of nature.

Editorial Reviews

Simon King takes the stage in a big way with this bombastic set, slinging comedic observations fast and furious for a full hour in this live recording. King is aggressive but not mean-spirited in his comedy, a hyperactive force of nature willing to crack jokes about almost anything as long as you don't try to make him stop talking.

King's antic demeanor sends him spinning from topic to topic like a pinball in the machine, racking up laughs as he goes. Listeners may be hard-pressed to keep up with King's fast talk, but that's okay - there's lots to enjoy in this frenzied, vibrant performance, and if you miss a joke, you can always dive back in for a second listen.
