Publisher's Summary

"I am a product of traditional India and its ancient wisdom, and modern India and its urban bustle. My upbringing was always an amalgamation of the two Indias, and, just as much, of East and West."

Unfinished takes listeners from Priyanka's childhood in India, where she was raised by her grandparents and her parents - two army doctors committed not only to their children but to their careers and to philanthropy - before being sent away to boarding school at an early age; through her formative teenage years in the US living with extended family in the Midwest (Cedar Rapids and Indianapolis), Queens, and suburban Boston, where she endured bouts of racism; to her return to India, where she unexpectedly won the national and global beauty pageants (Miss India and Miss World) that launched her acting career. Listeners looking for a glimpse into what it takes to succeed in the massive Indian film industry will find it here, and they'll also find an honest account of the challenges Priyanka faced navigating her career, in both India and Hollywood. The result is a book that is warm, funny, sassy, inspiring, bold, and rebellious. Just like Priyanka herself.

From her dual-continent 20-year-long career as an actor and producer to her work as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, from losing her beloved father to cancer to marrying Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra Jonas' story will inspire a generation around the world to gather their courage, embrace their ambition, and commit to the hard work of following their dreams.

well it was an engaging story to listen to

I loved the initial stories of pri's childhood and her journey to the crown, it was a bit dull and defensive in the middle especially the bollywood bits. PC seems to have glossed over her mistakes but it's her story and she has the right to say it her way. The chapter detailing her grief and struggle with depression gives a completely different perspective to one of the most glamourous time in her career. The ending was thoughtful and tied up well.
Over all Priyanka is a fighter, go getter and a considerate person. Her involvement with humanitarian work is more than just for publicity. As a girl, I like the fact that she takes no crap from anyone, keeps her head down and does what makes her happy.

Power to you PCJ

Unfinished!!!

PeeCee did justice in naming her book. If you have started to read it, it might probably be 'Unfinished'.

Unexpectedly profound

A story .. Well written and narrated. A non-clichéd, honest and balanced true story. Motivated me to write my own one day. Bolstered my belief that one should not refrain from turning any stone that you may encounter, for you know not what life-changing thing you may find under it!

It takes a village!

Wonderfully written book by none other than PC! I've been inspired at times by the way she carries herself with confidence and grace. The book, to a large extent, revealed where she gets it from. Honest and humble accounts of her experiences made me both cry and smile. Thank you for sharing them.

Not so inspiring

I have quite high regards for Pee Cee but this story doesn;t inspire as much as i would have imagined. The book overall is a typical narrative which obviously remains unfinished. The narration and quality of the audiobook is just fine.

Engaging and Enjoyable

The book is quite engaging and I enjoyed hearing it. It has vividly brought out the different phases of Priyanka's life and what has shaped her into what she is now.. loved the childhood relatability since I belong to similar background
