FBI researcher Emma Dockery is back with a vengeance. Obsessed with finding a link between a string of deaths across several different states, she is convinced that there's a pattern. And where there's a pattern, there's a serial killer to put a stop to. When detectives working on some of these cases start turning up dead, Emma knows that she's onto something. These deaths are murders, and she's going to be the one to prove it.

The closer she gets to finding the killer, the more Emma feels like she's being watched. Is she setting a trap for this depraved killer? Or with every step she takes, is she falling further into his...? With the death count rising, Emma must act fast to catch this killer, before she becomes the next name on the hit list.

Unsolved

Loved, loved this second book, please let there be a third sequel. As with the first, you are left guessing right to the end. The narration was excellent, as usual.

It started out alright, surprise twist

I started this book because I had read the first book. I am a huge James Patterson fan, I was expecting it to be like any other of his newer books, slightly predictable but still having a few twists, but I had a pleasant surprise twist at the end.

Was good but I couldn't get into it

Overall not a bad book, but for some reason I got a bit confused at times with the characters. I am glad there was less torture. I love & miss Lynsey Boxer myself.

Captivating but not as awesome as Book 1: Invisible

This storyline was insightful and, of course, classically took many twists toward the end. The two main characters continue on from book 1, Invisible, though the voice of Emmy is changed which killed the continuity, and I felt Emmy’s character thus changed too, disappointingly. The climax was full on and enjoyable. Though, I ultimately preferred the chaos and amazing plot of book one over this book, book 2.
