Publisher's Summary

You need a unique set of skills to get to the heart of your extraordinary mate

Following on the heels of Leil Lowndes's bestselling book How to Make Anyone Fall in Love with You, UpDating shows you how to attract a mate who once seemed out of your league. Written in her trademark straight-shooting style, Leil gives you techniques not found anywhere else, such as how to get:

  • A Gorgeous Partner: Don't swoon too soon. Fabulous-looking folks actually like someone better when they seem unimpressed at first.
  • A Wealthy, High-Class Partner: Decorate your home with class, not crass. You'll learn why a TV or the wrong type of carpeting in your living room can knock you out of the running. In fact, take the "How Classy Is Your Home?" quiz to see where your dwelling stands on the totem pole.
  • A Principled Partner: Don't get caught in one teensy little white lie. One fib and your credibility goes out the door, and the potential mate with integrity soon follows.
  • An Interesting, One-of-a-Kind Partner: Just don't do anything "normal." Leil shows you how to be a desirable "nut" who will win the hearts of those creative types.

Best of all, you'll learn to make the qualities you want in others become a part of your own life. You'll learn to like yourself better, and so will everyone else. And that's probably the biggest benefit of all.

I Loved it! I also keep hearing "OK Boomer"

An absolute must read if you are white, American, loves your 55 plymouth belvedere as much as your electric iceboxes and with such distinguished names like Donald, Gerald or Walther. I was thoroughly surprised when I read that I had to dress up to meet that gal of my dreams, gee whiz that was swell !

Times are a changing when gals nowadays have to put more effort than batting eyelids or dropping kerchiefs or a glove to get attention but I take great pride behind the effort in acquiring not one, but three whole complete sets of Gimbels bone china, my pride and joy, last year my great grandaughter came to visit and she was just disrespectful, the audacity to sit at the table without and invitation and the awful way she kept yammering on and on about this electronic mail. Back in my day Fredrick delivered our mail with a crisp and a smile right after Wallace dropped off the milk at our doorstep. I wonder if this walking talking automaton who delivers this "electronic mail" speaks with gusto like our dear old Freddy. Oh look at me going on and on about meself, I completely forget why I was here in the first place. What was i talking about in the first place?

Ah yes! this book is a such a delight, I nearly fell off me mobility scooter when I realised that nothing in this book is common sense yet ! Who really thinks of putting up your best foot forward or being nice to the person you are attracted to? Why isn't anyone out there shouting such gems of literature to the common public?

Ah all the references in this book reminds me of the good old simpler times. Whatever happened to Readers Digest and the Hudson review.

Unlike Leil's other literary gemstones, I find that this piece of literature will simply be a smash hit with our dashing UpDaters at our Super Senior Book club and Bingo association!

I am going to leave now to get the early bird diner discount at denny's , would you be a dear and tell me when this gets published in the newspaper?
