Editorial Reviews

Narrator Christopher Kipiniak's cerebral performance amps up the tension in this psychological thriller from best-selling author Katia Lief. A pair of robbers plans to break into the house of famous author Fiona Carson, expecting her to be away for Thanksgiving. However, volatile relationships within Fiona's family means that they decide to spend Thanksgiving at her house. When the two burglars arrive to find the house occupied, they panic and take the family hostage, and a simple crime spirals out of control.

Kipiniak's pacing is sharply taut and nail-biting, and he does exceptional work with expressing the range of characters in this audiobook, hinting at the strain and emotions underneath their words.
