Publisher's Summary

"Wa-ter-locked' adjective Definition: enclosed entirely, or almost entirely, by water Example: What happens when the water vampire you’ve promised yourself to actually wants you to go through with the wedding? For Gemma Melcombe, her engagement to Terrance Ramsay was a political maneuver. For Terry, it’s something entirely more. Rough waters may be ahead for these two headstrong lovers, but until they come to an agreement, Gemma will be waterlocked. Waterlocked is a stand-alone novella in the Elemental World series.

Gemma and Terry truly become a team

Gemma Melcombe, earth vampire, has been engaged to Terrance Ramsay, Lord Vampire of London for 10 years, and he’s decided he’s waited long enough. He makes a plan with the input of her brother Daniel and quickly maneuvers her agreement to marry in 2 weeks. Terry knows he loves her, and that she mostly loves him, and he’s determined to have her full commitment. We also get snippets from their past for context; then a present day attack on their boat while on honeymoon.
I didn’t much care for Gemma when Gio and Bea cane to London- see Elemental Mysteries series; but I did like her interaction with her vampire father Carwyn in Building From Ashes.
Pearlman does an ok job of narration.

Good book

Any additional comments?

I enjoyed this story so much that I also bought the audio version. A strong female character and a determined male set on winning her heart after the mating. Throw in a little attempted murder and you have a good paranormal romance story!
