Great book

My son and daughter listened to this book when we went on a road trip to the Grand Canyon! I even listened a little. It was a funny and entertaining story. I recommend this book for kids ages 8 - 12

Great listen with the kids!

Hilarious book that the whole family enjoyed. (Kids 8 and 10.) Kids had both already read the book, but loved listening to the stories anyway. Mom and I laughed so hard!

My kids love this book!

A very funny book read extremely well by the author. My 7 & 10 yr olds love it. Great for the car - the chapters are like little stories in themselves.

Kids loved it.

My 8 and 5 year old kids loved the book. It's also a book I didn't mind listening to with them. I definitely recommend.

Such a great book for kids

I've been listening to this series with my niece who's in the 3rd grade. We have had so much fun listening to these books. It's "our thing" and we listen to them every weekend, over and over. We also make funny references to the book all time, and we think it's funny that we are the only two people in the family that get the jokes. For example if she can't find any socks I'll say "you know where you should look?" and she'll reply "In the refrigerator." We crack up but everyone looks at us like we're crazy. Anyway, it's fun and so entertaining not just for kids but for a 54 year old lady like me as well.

Keeps the kids entertained!

Great for my fourth and second grader and entertaining for adults. I remember when this book came out and it's still as funny some 30yrs later. Makes for the beautiful sound of silent children on a road trip! Silence is BLISS!

I love this book

I liked this book but I feel that there could always be more, like i don’t know more mystery and the reader could show a bit of a tinsey, winsey, weeny, smidge, more of expression but overall I really enjoyed this book. I listened to it over and over again. I can’t wait for the 3rd book. Although the onomatopoeia at the end could always be a bit less neutral, it sounded a bit freaky, well to me anyway, but hey what can I say. And I know I’m repeating but I really do love this book.
