All I wanted was ten ghost-free days to enjoy sightseeing New Orleans with my boyfriend. I dreamed of mornings spent wandering through art galleries and afternoons listening to live jazz music. Oh, and eating beignets until my pants stop buttoning.
I might as well have asked Santa for a unicorn.
Within thirty-six hours of setting foot in the Big Easy, an ancient ghost warns me of a murderous spirit lurking in the city, a strip-mall psychic tells me I look pregnant (I blame the beignets) and, oh, yeah, a dead body shows up on the set of my boyfriend’s TV show and he lands himself at the top of the suspect list.

We go on a vacay with Scarlet to meet Lucas, her BF in NEW Orleans. Oohhh... Where all kinds of paranormal energy already resides and I was here for all the fun especially as we see that Scarlet doesn't take her ghost gang of friends with her, Hayward, Gwen and flapjack.
It turns out to be a much needed break from her ghostly chaos and quality time with Lucas and I absolutely love how that man is with Scarlet.
Even though he's swamped with work and with an ahole of a boss, yet he always makes Scarlet his priority and I really liked how Lucas might be having a bad day but never ever does he let that affect his time with Scarlet.
But things take a sour turn, when Lucas becomes a prime suspect in the crime that happens on the set of his latest renovation show and now somehow scarlet has to figure out how to save her man before it's too late.
Oohhh... We have another fun and crazy ride with Scarlet playing detective and a haunted mansion with hidden secrets and a ghost being the guardian of the dangerous room.
Flapjack was his usual sarcastic self but his snarky comebacks are so hilarious.
Gwen and Hayward were so cute in this one.
There's also a jaw dropping secret that we come to know and that might seriously change everything for Scarlet.
Lucas and Scarlet though... Ahhh... Love them together.❤️❤️
