Beau was devastated. After the worst day of his life, Caleb, the kindhearted and beautiful man he loved, had left him for good.
Beau was now at the end of his rope - and the bottom of his last bottle. With trouble following him everywhere he went, he guessed it was only a matter of time before he turned into his messed-up dad, alone and yearning for a love he foolishly let slip through his fingers.
The only thing he had left was a dull yet meaningful promise ring. He once intended to give it to Caleb but never got the chance. Was that chance now gone forever?
In his typical headstrong manner, Beau refused to believe it was over with Caleb. Forces of nature had tried to pull them apart many times before, yet they always seemed to find their way back to each other.
Beau had to do something drastic. The time was now. He could not risk losing Caleb forever.

The story had everything, there was angst, anger, heartache, sorrow, love, coping with addiction, trust and doubts, and everything that one goes through in life at some point or the other. The struggles one faces to maintain a relationship.
Both the MCs Beau and Caleb were meant for each other in spite of their separation for a short time, struggling to find their place and love with each other, All the supporting characters were equally important to the story and did it justice.
My heart went out to Beau instantly, Caleb I wanted to smack at times. I found him self-centered and fickle.
Kudos for the amazing narration by Chris Chambers, he did an excellent job of bringing all the characters in the story alive with his awesome and impressive voice-over for each character to the tee.
I will be going back to listen to this book again at some time this year. And I am sure it will remain with me for a long time to come.
