Loved the overall experience

The book is about three generations of Chinese women and their struggle to survive in Maos China. It covers almost 60 years and gives a glimpse of post Mao and the China under Maos rule. If you are interested in getting to know China's history, then you can definitely listen to it. The voice of the narrator is specially calm and the narration is good. Just take into account that the book is 27hrs long so you will take time to finish it and sometimes it does get tedious

Fabulous read.

Got to learn a lot about Chinese history. Authentic account on the basis it is a real life experience of the author and her family. Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. A very well written book and perfectly narrated in the audio version. Thank you!
