NOW THE NO.1 DRAMA IN THE HISTORY OF AppleTV+, SILO.

In a ruined and hostile landscape, in a future few have been unlucky enough to survive, a community exists in a giant underground silo.

Inside, men and women live an enclosed life full of rules and regulations, of secrets and lies.

To live, you must follow the rules. But some don't. These are the dangerous ones; these are the people who dare to hope and dream, and who infect others with their optimism.

Their punishment is simple and deadly. They are allowed outside.

Jules is one of these people. She may well be the last.

Critic Reviews

Exhilarating, intense, addictive. A novel you will never forget.
Thrilling, thought-provoking and memorable . . . one of dystopian fiction's masterpieces alongside the likes of 1984 and Brave New World.
Well written, tense, and immensely satisfying, Wool will be considered a classic for many years in the future.
Wool is frightening, fascinating, and addictive. In one word, terrific. (Kathy Reichs)
A thrilling sci-fi novel, equally adept at world-building, pulling the rug out from under its readers, and commenting in classic sci-fi fashion on our own present day.
Brilliantly written . . . Howey creates a starkly believable and terrifying apocalypse.
Wool is incredible . . . the best science fiction series I've read in years. (Douglas Preston)
Claustrophobic and, at times, genuinely terrifying.

Hugh Howey’s Wool masterfully explores human nature, showing how survival often takes a backseat to power struggles. The Silo series on Apple TV, while different in some ways, captures the world’s intricate details well, making it easier to visualize while reading. A compelling adaptation that stays true to the book’s essence. Book is excellent though. Solo’s character is especially heartfelt, adding an emotional depth to the story.

I watched the series and couldn’t wait for the next season to drop. I was an avid reader as a teenager but couldn’t read anything beyond a bit of nonfiction as an adult. This book really helped me change that as it drew me into this apocalyptic world. The TV series I thought was a bit more layered than the book but I really liked the experience overall.

I’m a Fan!

if you have read 'the giver' then think of this book as a darker version of that, for adults, and a trilogy.

the world building is top notch and the story draws you in, with each reveal making you more invested in the characters.

loved it from start till end
