Eli muss dringend ihre Kinderpflegeeinrichtung vor der Schließung retten. Aber so sehr sie sich um Spenden bemüht, es reicht einfach nicht. Als sie sich dann auch noch beim Kastanienbasteln verletzt und direkt vor die Füße von Daniel alias Doktor Grumpy fällt, ist das Chaos perfekt. Denn der Arzt hat absolut nichts für ihre Tollpatschigkeit, ihre Strickpullis oder die alberne Kastanienkunst übrig und würde sie am liebsten sofort hochkant rauswerfen. Doch wie ein Wirbelsturm fegt Eli immer und immer wieder durch das Leben des Perfektionisten und bringt es ordentlich durcheinander.
