Publisher's Summary

She's the one who got away. This time, he refuses to let her slip through his fingers.

Daniel Bennett has no regrets, except one: letting go of the woman he loved years ago. He wouldn't admit it out loud, but he's been pining for Caroline ever since.

But his meddling family can read him like an open book. So when his sisters kick up their matchmaking shenanigans, Daniel decides to play right along. After all, he built his booming adventure business by making the most out of every opportunity. And he doesn't intend to miss an opportunity to be near Caroline.

Caroline Dunne knows better than to fall for Daniel again. But his seductive charm melts her determination to keep her heart in check. Even with their lives going in separate directions, neither can ignore the magnetic pull between them.

Will they find the second chance they've both wanted all along?

Contains mature themes.

Bennett

Loved YOTL! The Bennett Family is one of my favorite family series out there! Daniel & Caroline we’re college sweethearts but broke up when college was over. 10 years later, they’re still involved with each other’s family and their love/attraction for one another hasn’t changed. Love a good reconnecting/second chance story. Would definitely recommend! Narrators did a great job as well.

Predictable, but I did enjoy this audiobook

I have really enjoyed the Bennett family series. It is sweet and tastefully sexy. Joe Arden has a great male voice, but his female voice does not work for me. Layla Hagen is a good writer, and I enjoyed this audiobook, but it was a bit predictable. When Caroline used the term “holy bananas”, I definitely rolled my eyes.

Disappointed

Story was allright. It would have been better if the female character didn't ramble on so much and if the female narrator was better.

Great second chance love story

I loved this story! I am a fan of second chance romances and what I liked most about this is that there wasn’t a major issue that caused them to break up in the first place. Their entire story felt very “real life” as in this is something that could totally happen to anyone and there was no excessive drama that is put there just to give them a hard time. I would reccomend to everyone!

The last unmarried Montgomery male finds love

Nice to see Daniel characterized as much more mature and sweeter than he has been in his sibling’s stories. Carolyn though is surprisingly unsure of herself and at times downright wimpy. Since these two are 30 year olds they should both be fairly confident even with trust issues and less than perfect communication skills. Great to see Mom Jenna helping the 2 and the rest of the family from the earlier books. Joe Arden narration was great and Maxine Mitchell’s was ok to good depending on whether she was rasping a male voice or being too whiny with Caroline’s character. Was it worth the credit? Maybe if you are looking to complete the series. I wish it had been a Romance Package offering.

Joe Arden has a poor females voice

Loved the story and have been waiting for this one. Got and sexy except for when Joe Arden has to narrate Carolines voicxe.
