A thirteen-year-old Raven sends her first ever love letter to her brother’s twenty-year-old friend Nicholas. Nicholas reasons with Raven and refuses her proposal, and later joins the army. Raven somehow manages to handle the rejection, and she moves on in life. A few years later, Raven, a gorgeous young lady, crosses paths with Nicholas yet again. And this time, Nicholas is completely smitten with her. However, the duo cannot unite on account of social barriers. Are the two people, who are deeply in love with each other, destined to be together?

Some stories entertain you.
Some stories break you.
And then there are stories that quietly become a part of your life.
Yours, Raven is that story for me.
I first stumbled upon it in Class 10, during a version of myself who was trying to figure out the world while drowning in assignments and deadlines. I would put on the audiobook, sit with my notebooks, and somehow, everything would feel a little softer.
Funny thing is, I don't only revisit this story because of the plot.
I revisit it because of the person I was when I first heard it.
Listening to Yours, Raven now feels less like replaying an audiobook and more like time travelling.
The voices, the dialogues, the emotions—they carry me back to late-night studies, unfinished homework, and a younger version of myself who didn't know how much life would change.
There are stories you outgrow.
This isn't one of them.
Every re-listen feels different because I am different.
The story stays the same, but I don't.
Some lines hit harder.
Some moments become funnier.
Some scenes that I ignored before suddenly become the ones I treasure the most.
And then there are Chapter 38 and Chapter 43.
I don't think I'll ever stop talking about them.
Those chapters don't just stay in your memory.
They quietly settle into your heart and refuse to leave.
I think that's what makes this audiobook so special to me.
It isn't my comfort story because everything is perfect.
It's my comfort story because it reminds me that I survived the versions of myself that first needed it.
Whenever life feels too fast,
whenever everything feels overwhelming,
I don't always go looking for something new.
Sometimes, I simply press play.
And for a little while,
I'm back in Class 10,
doing assignments,
dreaming impossible dreams,
and falling in love with this story all over again.
Some people revisit places.
Some revisit photographs.
I revisit Yours, Raven.
And somehow,
it always feels like coming home.
