  • What Kind of Salesperson Are You? You Are Who You See Yourself As
    Sep 14 2026

What if you are not bad at selling yourself, and the real problem is the picture you have been carrying of what a salesperson is supposed to look like?I was in a session at work watching a senior sales rep talk about the traits that make someone good at this job. What stayed with me was not her list. It was that she saw herself as a salesperson. No question in it, no doubt about it. She said it the way you say your own name. I have been selling for most of my working life and I am not sure I have ever said it about myself with that kind of ease. This episode is about what happens when you let an outside picture become an inside question, and about the frame that finally got me out of it. There is more than one kind of salesperson, in exactly the way there is more than one kind of business. McDonald's and the Four Seasons both sell, both are excellent, and neither one could run on the other's model for a single day. I had been running a Four Seasons and comparing myself to a McDonald's.CONNECT WITH THE SHOW:Website: https://1800goaldigger.comInstagram: @1800goaldiggerVoice messages and stories: hello@1800goaldigger.comIf this episode resonated with you, send it to one woman who needs to hear it. • You Became Who You Had to Be. Now Who Do You Want to Be? Season 2 Highlights
    Sep 1 2026

What if some of the qualities you think define you, being strong, independent, ambitious, capable, always holding it together, are not simply who you are?

What if some of them are who you learned you needed to be?

In this special Season 2 highlights episode of 1-800-GOAL-DIGGER, I’m revisiting some of the conversations that stayed with me most this season, from the emotional cost of being “the strong one,” to the beliefs we inherit, the armour ambitious women learn to wear, the difference between performing confidence and building self-trust, and what it actually means to become yourself.

Listening back, I realized that these episodes were never really separate conversations.

They were all circling the same question:

How much of who we are is actually us, and how much of it is who we learned we needed to be?

    In this episode, we explore:

➤ why strength can become a survival strategy

➤ the beliefs and expectations we inherit before we are old enough to question them

➤ why the inner work is part of the professional work

➤ how ambitious women can turn even healing into another performance metric

➤ the difference between packaging yourself and actually knowing yourself

➤ why becoming yourself is an ongoing process

➤ and what to do when you want to put something meaningful into the world but are afraid of being seen

I also share an important update. Beginning in September, 1-800-GOAL-DIGGER will move to an every-other-week publishing schedule so I can continue creating meaningful episodes while building a healthier balance between the podcast, my career, and my personal life.

  • He Was Rich, But He Wasn't Generous
    Aug 24 2026

In this episode of 1-800-GOAL-DIGGER, I share a relationship from my younger years that looked generous from the outside.

He was 23 years older than me, financially successful, owned two businesses, bought me expensive gifts, and took me to beautiful restaurants.

But after five years together, I realized something I could not see clearly at the time:

He was generous with what was easy for him to give.

    Money. Gifts. Dinners.

What he was not generous with was his time, his emotional availability, his family, or a future with me.

This episode is not really about dating a rich man. It is about the difference between being provided for and being truly chosen.

It is also about the origin of the name 1-800-GOAL-DIGGER, why I once felt the need to prove I was not a “gold digger,” and what I understand now about love, independence, and the things that actually cost us something to give.

If you have ever mistaken material generosity for emotional generosity, this episode is for you.
