In this episode, we pick up with Fizzz after her meeting with the dryad of the willow tree and the discussion with them about the potential of Fizzz' magical abilities. After leaving the dryad, Fizzz sets off to continue her trek toward the river and hopefully to her friends.

But you knew it wouldn't be that easy, right? As Fizzz travels through a rocky area, the ground gives way beneath her feet and she finds herself falling into a deep crevasse. There's a brief moment when she is separated from Twig, and when she finds them again, something is definitely wrong with them…and her magic isn't working quite right, either!

Where is Fizzz? What's wrong with the magic? And how in the world will she get out of here and back to her friends?

Many things have been happening over the past few weeks, several of which have impacted our planning/recording time. Jess and Hids are both deep in the process of starting college classes in August and preparation for that has burned up our brain space.

This episode is a quick little get-to-know-us session! This might not be new for those of you who also listen to our other podcast, J&H Make a Podcast, but we know we also have many new listeners that only know us from this podcast!

We will be back NEXT WEEK, August 8th, with our regular episode where we will be catching up with Fizzz and seeing where her journey will take her next! (Hint: it's not going to get her any closer to Bang.)

We pick up this episode with Bang after his adventure to secure the magical lotus flower for Rasul. When Bang and Rasul reach the area of the broken bridge, they find a crew working to repair the bridge. While not a major trade route, the bridge does provide access to the mountains for hunting, trapping, mining and more.

After bidding Rasul farewell, Bang sets out on his own once more to search for his friend. He travels downriver, sometimes leaving the road to stay close to the riverbank. As night draws close, he makes camp near a cluster of rocks in a meadow between the road and the river. Danger comes in the night but just as Bang overcomes his adversaries, he feels himself being pulled into the mud…and into a place he’s never been before: The Fae Realm!
