What is the church?

Has the church changed and how? What are some of the significant changes and how do you feel the changes have affected the people that attend the churches in and around the US and the world?

Larry Wright and Randy Wright, yes they are related, join us this week and next for a two part conversation on the changes that occurred in the church in just the last 50 years and how the Church has changed because of the culture changing. Is that good or bad.

Our conversation is strictly our opinions and definitely not based on any facts or beliefs that the church says is right or wrong.

This whole podcast is just three guys and guests sometimes sitting at a table and having casual conversations about what we believe the Bible and Jesus teaches.

EASTER SUNDAY

In this episode, the Anchormen share a round table discussion with Ernest Bodrazic on the illegal and inhumane torture and crucifixion of Jesus.

So much more than death occurred when Jesus died on that cross. We will discuss the implications to us and for us with the death and resurrection of Jesus.

We are extending this podcast episode due to the subject matter of crucifixion and resurrection. Our world calls it Easter Sunday but in reality, it should be referred to as "resurrection Sunday" as it was called in years past.

So many things in our walk with Christ hinge on this weekend.

This is the week most Christians go to church. This and Christmas, but those that do not go to hear the Good News, or Gospel, are missing more than an Easter message. They miss the opportunity to build relationships with Kingdom men and women at the local church.

This week we finish our conversation with Jim Cross speaking on the subject of Holy Week. Many details in the Gospels are there but most churches skip over details. This week we don't.
