Growing up, my mother was fond of saying “Ulunkumbwa telusuma.” In as much as I didn’t fully understand the context of the saying as a child, it stuck with me for a very long time until it eventually began to make sense.
In this episode, I share a few stories and lessons on contentment which I define as not the fulfillment of what we want, rather the realization of how much we already have.

  • Blind Spot
    Sep 9 2025
Have you ever noticed how easy it is to identify someone else’s mistakes, yet so difficult to spot our own? That’s because as humans, we all carry blind spots—areas of our lives, habits, and thought patterns that we simply don’t see clearly.
These blind spots don’t necessarily make us “bad” or “ignorant”—they make us human. But if left unchecked, they can limit our growth, strain our relationships, and keep us from becoming the best versions of ourselves.

Blind spots don’t define us—they refine us. The moment we choose humility and curiosity, we begin to see more clearly. And once we see, we can grow. That’s exactly what we’ll be unpacking in this podcast episode. Be blessed

  • Childhood Trauma.Opening Scripture: Psalm 21
    Jun 15 2022
Childhood is a very vulnerable period in our lives. We are growing, developing and learning how to see ourselves and the world around us. This can in turn affect how we function as adults that if not careful, a very toxic generational cycle of trauma can be set up.

In today’s episode, I share some responses as kids, that may be as a result of childhood trauma including a few signs and symptoms too.

I hope this helps you or someone you know navigate and find healing through any past traumas. Most importantly, remember that God cares for you and ready and willing to heal our broken hearts (psalm 38:18).

At the end of it all, we only have each other. Let’s love ourselves and be more merciful, let’s love our countries and most importantly, let’s love Africa!
Hoping you’ll be blessed and encouraged 🙏♥️

  • When You Don’t Know What To Do. Opening Scripture 2 Corinthians 2:14 AMPC
    Jun 13 2022
    “You should have known better!?”
Well what if the action you took is the only “better” you know in accordance to the knowing you have been exposed to? 🤷‍♀️

I am learning that it’s okay to make mistakes or be wrong because that’s probably the only “right” you might know how to do in that moment. 🤗

In today's episode, I share a few lessons that I picked from some stories in the Bible when people experienced seemingly overwhelming situations and how they dealt with them.

I hope you’re Blessed and encourages as you listen. 🙏♥️

Something that stood out for me was this statement made, “letting go is not giving up , it’s a way of finding a way to come back stronger.

Hope you’re Blessed as you listen.
