In this episode of After Hours Arc, join me as I recap Episode 3 of Witch Hat Atelier, where Coco takes on her first major test at the Dadah Range.

What starts as a simple trial quickly turns dangerous, with limited tools, no experience, and Agott clearly expecting her to fail. Along the way, Coco struggles hard but eventually realizes her strength comes from her own drawing ability — something she’s been doing her whole life.

Using that, she finds a creative workaround, makes it to the top, and successfully retrieves the Diadem Herb, proving she belongs.

By the end, Coco officially becomes Qifrey's apprentice and receives her pointy hat all while the appearance of the masked witch hints that something bigger is just beginning 👀

In this episode of After Hours Arc, I finally dive into Season 1 of Dr. Stone — and honestly, I did not expect to get hooked like this.

We’re talking about a world where humanity is suddenly turned to stone… and 3,700 years later, civilization has completely reset. From there, we follow Senku, a science-obsessed genius, as he begins rebuilding the world from scratch — one invention at a time.

This is easily one of the smartest anime I’ve watched in a minute, and it gave me way more than I was expecting going in.

If you’re looking for a binge-worthy series with real progression and payoff, this might be it!

In this episode of After Hours Arc, I get into the first two episodes of Witch Hat Atelier — and this one pulled me in immediately.

We follow Coco, a girl obsessed with magic in a world where she’s told she’ll never be able to use it. But once she discovers how magic actually works, everything changes — and it leads to a moment that completely flips her life upside down.

From there, we move into the Atelier, where her journey really begins. We meet new characters, start learning the magic system, and get a better sense of how dangerous this world actually is.

What stood out to me right away is how magic works in this series. Everything is drawn, not spoken, and that makes every moment feel more precise and more risky.

Two episodes in, and I’m already locked in.

In this episode of After Hours Arc, I get into The Otherworld’s Books Depend on the Bean Counter — and this one honestly surprised me.

We follow Seiichiro, who gets pulled into another world by accident and instead of becoming some hero, he asks for a job. From there, he ends up working as an accountant inside the palace, and that’s where everything starts to unfold.

What begins as a slow, almost comfort-type isekai turns into something with a lot more going on. Between the kingdom’s financial issues, the miasma problem, and everything happening inside the church, there’s a lot more beneath the surface than I expected.

At the same time, the relationship between Seiichiro and Aresh is what really holds everything together. It starts off a little chaotic, but as the season goes on, it turns into something much more balanced.

This ended up being way more than just a BL isekai for me.

This one’s a little more open — just me figuring things out in real time, from my recording setup to how I want to approach new shows moving forward.

I get into Witch Hat Atelier and realizing I completely messed up the release schedule, plus how that actually works out better for my upload timing.

I also talk about what I’m watching right now, including Dr. Stone and Hell’s Paradise, and how both of those are hitting for me in very different ways.

On top of that, I go through what I’m skipping this season, what I might come back to, and why some shows just don’t work for me — even if I wanted them to.

This episode is definitely more laid back, but it gave me a chance to reset a bit and figure out how I want to move going forward.

In this episode of After Hours Arc, I get into Episode 12 of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 — and this was a strong close to the first part of the core.

We pick up with Yuta in the Sendai Colony, and from the start it’s nonstop action. This turns into a full three-way fight with Kuroushi, Uro, and Ishigori, and it just keeps escalating.

What I liked most is how Yuta fights. He’s not just overpowering people — he’s adapting, thinking ahead, and still trying to protect everyone around him.

Once Rika fully comes into play, everything shifts and the fight gets way more intense. And seeing all three of them attempt domain expansion at the same time was wild.

By the end, it comes down to Yuta vs Ishigori, and it felt like a perfect way to close this part of the season.

In this episode of After Hours Arc, I go over my Winter 2026 lineup — what worked, what didn’t, and what surprised me.

Going in, I really only cared about Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 and Frieren Season 2. Everything else was a bonus.

I talk about a few standouts, like A Gentle Noble’s Vacation Recommendation and The Otherworld’s Books Depend on the Bean Counter, both of which really surprised me.

On the other side, Dark Moon just didn’t land for me at all.

Overall, this season showed me I don’t always need nonstop action — sometimes I just want to sit with a story.
