    In this episode of live teaching we look at the question of LOCATION in considering building a new life. When we consider moving house, the question of who you will be moving away from, and who you will be moving closer to, should be considered. Even though our new house will be a metaphor (as used by jesus in Matthew 7:24) the question is still relevant. It is likely that the changes you want to make in your life will necessitate changing some relationships. In some cases it will be a simple adjustment of seeing some people less or a little more, but in other cases it may mean removing yourself from relationships, and this can be very difficult. It's not just the relationships with others, the real cost of the new house is the old house! And of course the relationship with yourself is the main component of the changes you will make. This session also introduces you to the concept of parts and invites you to consider and name your first 'part'. Thank you for taking the time to watch this session, and I hope you get a lot from it.     In this video we approach the idea of preparation from the first of three main questions, namely cost. What are you wanting to achieve as part of your spiritual development? Whatever it is for you personally, the preparation you make will be a huge factor in your results. Spiritual progress is difficult if you do not understand the difference between the flesh and the spirit, and especially difficult if you do not kow that they can never mix! But once you understand this difference, and start by making a very clear distinction between the two of them, you can begin the process of inner discipling. This is one of the main resources that the Lord has left us once we are on a salvation journey.

It's not only for people who have become dependent or addicted, but anyone who believes in the word of God and yet struggles to know how to put it into practice. The course has four modules PREPARATION, FOUNDATION, GROUND FLOOR and FIRST FLOOR. and uses the metaphor of buiding a new life which the Lord uses in Matthew 7 starting from verse 24.

    In this session, we see the work of preparation begin with the question of COST. Lots of questions and comments that lead to further clarity on the profound idea of inner discipling.
