    The show is explained.

We get one thing out of the way: The greatest generation of music is knocking on heaven's door - go see them live NOW.

We do a plug for Dynamic Bitcoin.

We meet Frank X Gallagher, the man behind the console, at your live concerts, who makes the B-52's, The Talking Heads and others - sound incredible. Fresh off the road doing sound for B-52's/Devo/Lene Lovich shows nationwide, Frank takes a break after Thanksgiving to join the show. Frank has done everything in live rock, from Scotland to New York City, to the west coast and everywhere in between. We talk 60's, 70's, 80's artists, and go under the covers a bit on how live sound lives and breathes, and how Morrissey ducked tossed links.

We play "Thank You, No Thank You" and Frank is a gentleman and shows you who is worthy, and kindly, who is not.

We finish as always with Disclaimers and Thank You's.

    About Frank:

Frank X Gallagher has done everything: Mixed rock bands, road managed rock bands, ran a restaurant, booked NYC rock venues and on and on. He is the live soundman for the B-52's, The Talking Heads, Tom Tom Club, and others. He hosts his own excellent podcast Soundman Confidential, where he interviews coolest and best acts. We get one thing out of the way: Sports broadcasting jocks are "unbelievable!" This needs to stop.

We meet Neal Rubin, esteemed and witty columnist for The Detroit Free Press. We talk about news and sports and entertainment in the 70's and up till now from Neal's career of writing on Detroit.

We play "Thank You, No Thank You" where Neal answers the requisite questions on Detroit rock and roll, pizza, sliders and media.

Neal has a tremendous body of work reporting and column writing since 1984 at The Detroit Free Press, then Detroit News, and currently back at the Freep. His eyes and ears and writing style paint vivid pictures on what is happening in a dynamic (not that Dynamic) Metro Detroit. Neal wrote the comic strip Gil Thorp for 18 years. The strip told the story of the fictional Milford High School football coach and chronicled the wholesome trials and travails of high school students and society.

    Fun reads from Neal:
