    The show is explained.

We get one thing out of the way: The greatest generation of music is knocking on heaven's door - go see them live NOW.

We do a plug for Dynamic Bitcoin.

We meet Frank X Gallagher, the man behind the console, at your live concerts, who makes the B-52's, The Talking Heads and others - sound incredible. Fresh off the road doing sound for B-52's/Devo/Lene Lovich shows nationwide, Frank takes a break after Thanksgiving to join the show. Frank has done everything in live rock, from Scotland to New York City, to the west coast and everywhere in between. We talk 60's, 70's, 80's artists, and go under the covers a bit on how live sound lives and breathes, and how Morrissey ducked tossed links.

We play "Thank You, No Thank You" and Frank is a gentleman and shows you who is worthy, and kindly, who is not.

We finish as always with Disclaimers and Thank You's.

    About Frank:

Frank X Gallagher has done everything: Mixed rock bands, road managed rock bands, ran a restaurant, booked NYC rock venues and on and on. He is the live soundman for the B-52's, The Talking Heads, Tom Tom Club, and others. He hosts his own excellent podcast Soundman Confidential, where he interviews coolest and best acts. Plug-in and tune into that show, give it a listen and give it a subscribe here:

Mike hails from Philly and heals from an affair in Atlanta. Prior to his Detroit move, he produced the syndicated George Michael's Sports (not Sex) Machine out of DC, before moving to Detroit to work with Bernie Smilovitz' and produce at Local 4 in Detroit. The show is explained.
Mike Skill of The Romantics is introduced as our guest.

We Get A Few Things Out Of The Way:

    1. Mattel decides that Scrabble needs to be the "New Coke" of board games.
    2. I'm forced to introduce "Pronunciation Nation" as a segment for people getting too cute with the language and butchering words. Today's word victim: "Diversity"

We talk about creating and writing hits, on growing up in the 50's, 60's and 70's in the American melting pot of music - Detroit. We go into being in a band, touring in the heyday of rock, punk and new wave, what makes a great song, into what's the current state of The Romantics and The Mike Skill Band, and more.

This is a long one, Weirdos - Lefsetz-type long. But worth it for fellow music nerds.

    We finish with Disclaimers.*
