    Oct 15 2026
This episode of Antisemitism Watch features a lawsuit against Harvard University alleging religious discrimination and retaliation against a Jewish employee, Daniel Lilienthal. We also examine the Anti-Defamation League's findings that Wikipedia continues to host antisemitic and anti-Israel bias, even after banning editors. Plus, President Trump's antisemitism czar, Leo Terrell, launches a national 'American Tour Against Hate' from Michigan, amidst political tensions. Finally, leaders from seven major global Jewish communities convened in London to address the rising tide of antisemitism, with 2025 marking the deadliest year for antisemitic violence in the diaspora in decades.

Bomb Threats Disrupt Jewish Schools, NY Politics Explodes Over Mamdani
    Oct 15 2026
This week on Antisemitism Watch, we cover urgent threats as bomb hoaxes force lockdowns at Jewish day schools across the U.S., including incidents in Brooklyn, Florida, and Los Angeles. In New York, a gubernatorial debate ignites controversy over Mayor Zohran Mamdani's stance on antisemitism and the IHRA definition, with Republican challenger Bruce Blakeman clashing with Governor Kathy Hochul. On campuses, an Oregon Hillel director is targeted with hateful flyers and flag burning, while a former Harvard employee sues the university for religious discrimination. US educators cancel a trip to Italy due to antisemitic pressure demands, and Pennsylvania lawmakers move to codify the IHRA definition into law. We also examine the upcoming parole hearing for a perpetrator of 1999 synagogue firebombings. Key entities include: Jewish day schools, NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani, Governor Kathy Hochul, Bruce Blakeman, IHRA definition, University of Oregon, Oregon Hillel, Harvard University, Reggio Emilia, Pennsylvania lawmakers, and Tyler James Williams.Sources:- clevelandjewishnews.com: https://www.clevelandjewishnews.com/jta/bomb-threat-hoaxes-called-into-four-u-s-jewish-day-schools/article_6924de32-4ba5-5a13-b630-4c1285c072d7.html- jewishtimes.com: https://www.jewishtimes.com/swastika-found-in-catonsville-high-school-parking-lot/- forward.com: https://forward.com/news/855812/hillel-targeted/- thecrimson.com: https://www.thecrimson.com/article/2026/10/14/former-hsph-employee-sues-harvard/- Algemeiner: https://www.algemeiner.com/2026/10/14/bruce-blakeman-hammers-kathy-hochul-antisemitism-mamdani-new-york-gubernatorial-debate/- foxnews.com: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/hochul-deflects-pressed-ties-anti-christian-mamdani-fiery-debate-moment-shame- facebook.com: https://www.facebook.com/lawler4ny/posts/fact-check-cait-conley-waited-an-entire-week-to-denounce-zohran-mamdanis-horrifi/1523649136236766/- jewishinsider.com: https://jewishinsider.com/2026/10/bruce-blakeman-kathy-hochul-debate-warning-anti-israel-protesters/- silive.com: https://www.silive.com/news/2026/10/the-sharp-accusation-blakeman-made-about-mamdani-and-the-mayors-blistering-response.html- atlantajewishtimes.com: https://www.atlantajewishtimes.com/collins-pledges-his-support-for-israel/amp/- jpost.com: https://www.jpost.com/diaspora/antisemitism/article-911727- abc7ny.com: https://abc7ny.com/story/jewish-educators-cancel-italy-education-trip-demand-condemn-war-gaza/19938625/- sdjewishworld.com: https://www.sdjewishworld.com/2026/10/14/philadelphia-media-ignores-jewish-counterprotests-to-oct-7-celebration-by-anti-israel-forces/- clevelandjewishnews.com: https://www.clevelandjewishnews.com/jns/bipartisan-pennsylvania-lawmakers-introduce-bill-to-adopt-ihra-definition-of-jew-hatred/article_9343fcb7-a211-5af7-b002-0cb827a15888.html- combatantisemitism.org: https://combatantisemitism.org/government-and-policy/three-dozen-us-cities-and-counties-proclaim-october-7th-as-day-of-remembrance/- yahoo.com: https://www.yahoo.com/news/politics/articles/trump-antisemitism-official-visit-michigan-224517577.html- jewishinsider.com: https://jewishinsider.com/2026/10/dublin-hotel-dumps-antisemitism-conference/- haaretz.com: https://www.haaretz.com/us-news/2026-10-15/ty-article/.premium/trumps-antisemitism-tour-promotes-appeal-by-right-wing-pro-israel-group/000001a1-3c5c-de23-a5fb-bedd905f0000- JTA: https://www.jta.org/2026/10/14/united-states/bomb-threat-hoaxes-called-into-four-u-s-jewish-day-schools- fox2detroit.com: https://www.fox2detroit.com/video/fmc-qjqd4v82tnjveaa5- forward.com: https://forward.com/fast-forward/855905/bomb-threat-hoaxes-jewish-day-schools/- dailygazette.com: https://www.dailygazette.com/tribune/white-supremacist-behind-1999-sacramento-synagogue-attacks-to-get-parole-hearing/article_f3635e29-2e40-5da2-aecd-3ad75e5882d7.html- clevelandjewishnews.com:...
