In this episode, I chat about

- Debunking the phrase, "God come into this place", as God is already Omnipresent. Why are we telling Him to be somewhere he already is.

- Moving our focus from Knowing People More to benefit us to Knowing people for who they are. This also applies to knowing God for who He is rather than what He can do for us. When we move away from focusing more on People (and trying to figure them out.. or feeling 'unsure' about them) to God, the ALL KNOWING.. God can reveal everything we need to know about the person. He can open our eyes to what we've been blinded to. So our goal is to change our focus from them to HIM.

I grew up Christian, having Holy ghost filled grandparents, attending a Christian private school, singing, and prophetic dancing... you name it -- yet never had a true relationship with God. How does that make sense? 

There was a desire for more, yet my reason for more was clouded. I needed to get myself out of the equation and add God instead.

1. What happens if I sin?
2. What does the enemy keep attacking/tempting me?
3. Can I listen to Secular Music?
4. Does God hear my prayers?
5. Is being apart of a ministry important?

Drawing closer to God each day isn't for Him but for us. Just as much as we need to eat to fuel our bodies, the Word and time with God fuel our spirits.
Drawing Near to God requires us to .... James 4:7-9
So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. Let there be tears for what you have done. Let there be sorrow and deep grief. Let there be sadness instead of laughter, and gloom instead of joy.
