    अयम् आत्मा ब्रह्म उपनिषद् के इस महावाक्य के अनुसार आत्मा और परब्रह्म का समीकरण है। अर्थात् व्यक्ति विश्व का रहस्य, जो परब्रह्म को विदित है, जान सकता है। अयमात्मा ब्रह्म भारत के पुरातन हिंदू शास्त्रों व उपनिषदों में वर्णित महावाक्य है, जिसका शाब्दिक अर्थ है यह आत्मा ब्रह्म है। उस स्वप्रकाशित प्रत्यक्ष शरीर से परे तत्त्व को 'अयं' पद के द्वारा प्रतिपादित किया गया है। शरीर तत्त्व को जीवित रखने वाली अप्रत्यक्ष शक्ति ही 'आत्मा' है। वह आत्मा ही परब्रह्म के रूप में समस्त प्राणियों में विद्यमान है। सम्पूर्ण चर-अचर जगत में तत्त्व-रूप में वह संव्याप्त है। वही ब्रह्म है, वही आत्मतत्त्व के रूप में स्वयं प्रकाशित 'आत्मतत्त्व' है।

    ये दुनिया अगर मिल भी जाए तो क्या है | Yeh duniya agar mil bhi jaye to kya hai written by Sahir Ludhiyanvi is an ode to a spirit that is alive since the dawn of civilization. It is the enduring conflict between a rebel poet who finds society unacceptable as the society shorns the poet with no mercy. Now, it is impossible to take a normative stand on this issue. Perhaps, the society is too bigoted to accept the radical poet. Or, the poet is too delusional to try imposing his lofty ideals on a society that is barely surviving. Whatever the case may be, It is worth listening to the lamentations of a broken poet. Someone who is broken not only by the insidious forces of society, but also by his love, his loss and the spirit of living that he lost somewhere down the line.

    अहं ब्रह्मास्मि महावाक्य का शाब्दिक अर्थ है मैं ब्रह्म हूँ, यहाँ 'अस्मि' शब्द से ब्रह्म और जीव की एकता का बोध होता है। जब जीव परमात्मा का अनुभव कर लेता है, तब वह उसी का रूप हो जाता है। ❝ अहं ब्रह्मास्मि अर्थात अन्दर ब्रहमाण्ड की सारी शक्तियाँ है। मैं ब्रह्म का अंश हूँ। ❞ मुझमे ब्रह्म की सर्व शक्तियां हैं या ब्रह्म मुझमे है, यह केवल एक अव्यत्क विचार मात्र है? जैसे हम एक सीधे-साधे निर्धन आदमी से कहें: अरे तू तो अरबपति है। यदि उस आदमी ने कुछ देर के लिए उसे सुना, अपने आसपास देखा, हंसा और कहने वालो को जड़ मूर्ख कह चला गया। अब यदि उसी व्यक्ति में पूर्व संचित गुण व संस्कार हैं और उसने धैर्य पूर्वक मनन किया और उस ब्रह्म को प्राप्त किया। Aham Brahmasmi Mahavakya literally means I am Brahman, here the word 'Asmi' signifies the unity of Brahman and Jiva. When the soul realizes the Supreme Soul, then it becomes its form. ❝ Aham Brahmasmi means all the powers of the universe are within. I am a part of Brahman.❞ Do I have all the powers of Brahma or is Brahma in me, it is just an unmanifest thought? Like we say to a simple poor man: Hey you are a billionaire. If that man listened to him for some time, looked around him, laughed and went on calling those who said it a fool. Now if the same person has the pre-accumulated qualities and rituals and meditated patiently and attained that Brahman.

These are an integral part of Vedic literature. These are written in Sanskrit. Their number is about 108, but the main Upanishads are 13. Every Upanishad is associated with one or the other Veda.

    शिव निराकार है और वह निराकार ब्रह्म है जिसका कोई आकार आकार या शरीर नहीं है वह प्रकाश है, उसके प्रकाश की तुलना अरबों सूर्य भी नहीं कर सकते, वह वह है जिसमें सब कुछ विलीन होने वाला है और जिससे जो कुछ भी आता है वह 'निराकार' है अर्थात जिसका कोई रूप नहीं है। शंकर का एक बहुत ही विशिष्ट मानव रूप है। उनका रूप ब्रह्मांड में सबसे सुंदर भौतिक रूप माना जाता है। बेशक, यह होना ही चाहिए। आखिर बात शंकर की है। शंकर अपनी पत्नी पार्वती के साथ पृथ्वी पर (कैलाश में) रहते हैं। उन्हें लंबे, मैट बाल-उनके तपस्वी दिनों का संकेत दिखाया गया है। उनके गले में एक बड़ा सा सांप लिपटा हुआ है, जो भय पर शंकर के प्रभुत्व को दर्शाता है। उनके बगल में (या उनके साथ) रखा गया त्रिशूल तीनों लोकों पर उनकी शक्ति का प्रतीक है। वह आम तौर पर जानवरों की खाल पहनता है, जो फिर से उसकी तपस्या की याद दिलाता है। Shiva is formless and he is brahma the formless who don't have any shape size or body he is light, even billions of suns can't be compared to his light he is the one in which everything is gonna to be dissolved and from which everythings comes he is ‘nirakaar' means one who do not have any form. Shankar has a very distinctly human form. His form is believed to be the most beautiful physical form in the Universe. Of Course, it must be. After all, it’s about Shankar. Shankar lives with his wife Parvati on Earth (in Kailash). He is depicted to have long, matt hair-a a sign of his ascetic days. A large snake is coiled around his neck, reflecting Shankar’s domination over fear. The trident put next to him (or with him) is symbolic of his power over all three worlds. He normally wears animal skin, which is again a reminder of his asceticism.
