This week we start a two part episode to try and discuss new ideas to grow sailing. We want to do a series of episodes, one every few months, where we talk about growing the sport. This week we start with two people who are at the coal face. Adrian Finglas Head - Coach Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron and Scott Paton - Head of the Sailing Program Rye Yacht Club. This week we chat to Graeme Taylor, who along with James Mayo and Richie Allanson (Ep 5 and Ep 64) won the 2024 Etchells Worlds sailing Magpie. GT has a long history in the Etchells and the Magpie team have been dominant this year. GT also has an enviable record in the Hobart especially on the 100 footers, so we have plenty to talk about.
