On today's episode our host Zach goes solo and shares his thoughts on The Big Bang theory and his frustration with not feeling he can share his beliefs during discussions in school.

"As my teacher talks, trying to teach us this, I'm just sitting there and I just want to stand up and say "You're wrong!" so today I want to share what I would like to say in class to my teacher."

Today Zach talks about how the Bible teaches us that God is the creator of the universe and everything in it. While the concept of the Big Bang Theory is a scientific explanation for the origin of the universe, as a believer in the Bible he follows the teachings of God. He is the ultimate creator of all things. The Bible does not explicitly mention the Big Bang, but it emphasizes God's role as the creator. It also says in Colossians 1:16 "For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him." You find throughout the Bible it repeatedly says that God created all things, and through him all things were created for him."

We hope you enjoy today's episode and Zach sharing with you how it can be hard when you feel your silenced in some situations, especially for teens today when they feel pressured in a way to not share their true beliefs or challenge their teachers thoughts.

Today's episode touches on a very sensitive topic. There are some tears shed as I share with you about my past and how I found the ability to forgive someone that caused me so much pain and trauma.

I felt called to share this story today believing that it may help someone out there that could be going through a similar situation and feels hopeless in this moment. Sharing this today was a bit of therapy for me and helped to heal more from the trauma and abuse that this person caused me over 20 years ago. So thank you for taking the time to listen today.

It wasn't easy being able to find the ability to forgive this person or others that had hurt me in the days or years following, but the ability to forgive isn't about the other person, it is about YOU...it's the beginning of your ability to heal and to move on. Once I was able to forgive him I was able to truly start healing and finding the person that would love me for me, and love all of me.

Ephesians 4:32 "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you."

Know that if you're in a dark place now, or in a tough situation there are people to help you. Know that you are strong and you can get out. I was very lucky that I was able to get out of that situation quickly, and I know other women are not as lucky, or their situation is more severe, but please seek help.

Today we want to share with you a little about how we spent our Easter weekend and celebrated the joy of Jesus' resurrection. As we look at the days between Good Friday and Easter Sunday we see that even when there is darkness and no hope there is joy and light in the end. We all have a story to tell and Jesus' story, a story known around the world, is a story that has touched and changed so many lives. Because of Jesus' story it gives each of us hope that we can get through the darkness and struggles, but that our stories can also bring joy, hope, and faith to others.

On today's episode we discuss how the Bible tells the story of how Jesus willingly suffered for our sins and died on the cross for all of humanity, because of the love that he has for all of us. As he was suffering on the cross he said "Father forgive them for they know not what they do" The love, sacrifice, and forgiveness that he showed others is a story we celebrate every year. It is one of the most important occurrences of the Christian religion. This sacrifice that Jesus made is what gives us hope, love, faith, forgiveness, and the ability to be here today to share our stories. THIS is what Jesus wants for us. He wants us to share how he has helped us get through difficult times and share our stories. To share our struggles and share our triumphs to help inspire, touch, and give hope to others. Today Zach shares a bit about overcoming his anxiety and fear of talking in front of others, and I share as his Mom how I believe my prayers and faith in God are a big part of where Zach is today.
