Fruitless Trees

It is possible to look the part without actually living the part. In Part 3 of FOCUSED Fruit, we look at the fig tree Jesus approached in Mark 11. From a distance it had leaves and looked promising, but when Jesus came closer, He found nothing but leaves.

This message challenges us to look beyond appearances and examine what our lives are actually producing. Christian activity is not a substitute for genuinely following Christ, and God’s patience should never be mistaken for His approval. When God reveals something that needs to change, ignoring it does not eliminate the consequences.

Are we simply presenting the appearance of fruit, or are our lives actually producing it?
