Boots the house down like Nessarose! This week, we're celebrating the release of Wicked: For Good by having worse video quality and watvhing the Muppets' Wizard of Oz! It was one of Jade's favorite movies growing up, Bertrude had never seen it... so we're really coming at it from two different directions!

In addition to Muppets' Wizard of Oz, we'll cast a (truly incredible) Muppet Wicked movie, clarify that Ashanti never fell off, and learn that Bertrude has very strong feelings about calling a movie "Part 1" when the second isn't called "Part 2" (the Mission Impossible franchise catches a few strays here).

This week, Bertrude's decided to rile up the millennials (again) by making some big claims: Chew rocks, Halloweentown! Gobble a dong, Phantom of the Megaplex! Girl vs. Monster is the best Halloween Disney Channel Original Movie... concept... we're not sold on the execution either. So we're rewriting it! Vaguely... we have concepts of a storyboard. But one thing is clear: Henry has GOT to go.

In addition to Miss Girl vs. Madame Monster, we'll also drum up some rousing discourse! Including, but not limited to: the role of pretentious film lingo in DCOM discussions, how bad wigs can flop your (surprisingly necessary) flashback opening, and how you really do only need to end a movie once (wrap it up Olivia Holt!! Jinkies! This week, we’re rolling out the orange carpet for the shining star of Mystery Incorporated: Velma Dinkley. Bertrude feels a very normal way about Velma, so he’ll be taking us through everything we need to know about this bundle of perfection. Jade doesn't know much about Velma beyond the live-action (*floods basement*), but boy is she excited to tag along!
