  • From AI Models to the Harsh Reality: My Company's Struggling Database
    Sep 15 2024

In the early stages of implementing AI, I aimed to automate supplier payments using a seven-year SQL data history from my company, but I quickly encountered data inconsistencies such as supplier name variations, which complicated the analysis.

This led us to simplify the model by focusing on the remaining reliable columns, but even then, data misclassifications, like profit & loss accounts, hindered progress, showing that the data was insufficient for a reliable model.

Despite not achieving full automation, the project led to a complete restructuring of our database, highlighting the importance of high-quality data, a realization that now shapes my consulting approach to AI readiness in companies.

  • How to tailor train AI for your Business
    Aug 29 2024
In this episode, we discuss how Large Language Models (LLMs) like OpenAI's ChatGPT, Facebook's LLaMA, and Google's Gemini are trained using vast datasets and tokenization to understand and generate text. These models can be adapted for specific business needs through additional training with tailored documents, accessed via APIs or by downloading and running the models locally. While LLMs are powerful for various tasks, they require careful consideration of costs, hardware, and accuracy in training data to ensure they meet your specific requirements.

  • What are microservices and API’s
    Aug 11 2024

In this episode, we explore the role of microservices and APIs in modern business. We break down how microservices allow for flexible, scalable application development by dividing large systems into smaller, manageable pieces. APIs then connect these microservices, enabling seamless communication between them. We discuss how businesses benefit from this architecture through faster development cycles, easier maintenance, and the ability to quickly adapt to changing market needs.
