The Saskatchewan Roughriders face a unique challenge as the CFL work stoppage delays the season until September. With training camp practices canceled, the team must integrate high-profile acquisitions Vince Young and Terrell Owens without traditional preparation. This power ranking analysis evaluates their standing in the West division, weighing their veteran strengths against integration risks.

We examine the strategic impact of the new Grey Cup hosting rule, which favors teams with the best regular-season records. Key topics include the projection of 6 to 7 wins, the likelihood of Vince Young securing his first win in Weeks 3-4, and Terrell Owens' debut performance. The discussion highlights roster stability versus the volatility of rushed integration.

Hosts Rachel and Dave provide a detailed breakdown of the Riders' depth chart, defensive discipline, and offensive potential. They compare Saskatchewan's position against Calgary and Edmonton, offering concrete predictions on player performance and playoff viability during this unusual pre-season period.
