  • How to Face Fear with Biblical Hope: Sarah Griffiths Hu
    Oct 14 2026

Where do you go with your fears? Author Sarah Griffiths Hu has battled fear most of her life, and she's found that God is faithful, present, and able.

Sarah joins Phil Callaway for a warm, vulnerable conversation about facing fear and worry with help from Scripture. She shares the story behind her book “Courageous Trust: A Journey of Faith Over Fear”, a book about her own story, told to help women (and men too) who are afraid for their families or for the future. Whatever you’re facing, you are not alone.

Together they talk about whether fear is a sin, what Jesus calls us to instead, and provide some practical biblical help, like prayer, Scripture, thanksgiving, praying the armour of God, and taking worried thoughts captive. Sarah shares a family miracle, how God has used her pain to comfort others, and why she's learned to trade "what if" for "what's next." Despite the heaviness, there are lots of laughs along the way, and the conversation closes with a prayer for anyone who is struggling.

If you’re fearful or worrying about the future or loved ones, you don't have to carry it alone.

  • He Never Gave Up on His Abusive Father: Mark Wensley's Story
    Sep 30 2026

What does it look like to trust God through family wounds, unanswered questions, and seasons of suffering? Phil Callaway sits down with his good friend Mark Wensley for an honest conversation about fatherhood, faith, work, friendship, and hope.

Mark shares about growing up with a violent, alcoholic father, longing for a relationship with him, and the difficult journey of sharing the gospel with him. It wasn't easy, but God was at work powerfully in his dad's life. He also reflects on marriage, parenting, grandparenting, and walking through seasons of his children's suffering, marked by questions, despair, prayer, and a deepening awareness of God’s presence.

Along the way, Mark and Phil talk about the mercy found in Jesus, integrity in business, the friends who help us through dark valleys, and the kind of legacy that points beyond ourselves to what God has done. This is a candid and encouraging conversation about trusting God through brokenness and uncertainty, and finding hope that overflows.

  • How God Uses Comedy to Heal: Leland Klassen on God’s Calling
    Sep 16 2026

How did stand-up comedy become a ministry of healing? God revealed Leland’s calling in a dream, calling him a "healer" and changing his purpose completely.

After years as a clean comedian, Leland came to see that his comedy needed a deeper purpose than just making people laugh. He and Phil talk candidly about comedy as ministry, depression within the comedy world, the power of words, and family life.

This is an honest, encouraging conversation about finding the purpose God's given you and using it to bring life.
