Care Too Much is a Tottenham Hotspur podcast from Still the Lane. I'm Tom. I've followed Spurs since I was a boy, and these days I sit in the West Stand with my kids.

Each episode is one of the Still the Lane pieces, read by me: what I saw from the stands, what I remember from the old White Hart Lane, and whatever I'm still thinking about long after the final whistle. Now and again there'll be a conversation with someone who knows the club better than I do.

Why the goals still aren’t coming, what Steve Perryman says about how Keith Burkinshaw’s side finally clicked once Crooks and Archibald arrived, and why a season of consolidation wouldn’t be the worst thing after finishing 17th twice.

For most of my formative years, Old Trafford was somewhere Spurs simply didn't win. At some point that changed. We go back there on Saturday bottom of the league, with Michael Carrick in the other dugout, and it doesn't feel like it used to.

Manchester City are reported to have been found in breach of Premier League rules on almost all of the charges about their finances, covering the years we were trying to become a regular Champions League club. There's no trophy to hand back to Spurs. There is a table to look at again.
