Mass & generalized statements are creating noise & distraction from God’s message to you. I’ve seen these reels that say things such as “4 awkward things that happen before God confirms your person”… for no exact reason of course, lol. Or a reel about what people’s behavior says, or how to react to certain behaviors… and sometimes I’ve found these generalizations to be helpful, but there’s something about them recently that my spirit becomes a little prickly when I see them. That prickle feeling may be the Holy Spirit telling me that there’s a lie in the info being sold to me.

The only truth we have is the Holy Bible and the only translator is the Holy Spirit through discernment. In this episode I caution generalized advice or information as each of us is wholly unique and special with a unique directive from our glorious God above.

This podcast reflects on the new and simplified understanding of what confessing is, what it means, and how it's different than apologizing for my sins. In this podcast I take a brief look at the progression of truth telling, times when I've been tempted to alter a narrative, and the purpose of confessing the truth to myself and to Christ.

Confessing takes time. We deny the truth to ourselves as there’s a part of us that knows and recognizes that if we even admit the truth to ourselves, it’s harder to live in that ‘reality’, so we hide it from ourselves. Start with admitting it to yourself and begin opening it up to Christ.

I reference the book "Living Fearless" by Jame Winship as the eye opening definition and application of the term "confess" and look at Proverbs 22:17-21 for the scripture reading.
