Galatians 5:22-23 says, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law” (NIV). Were you put in your workplace to climb the corporate ladder or to be of service to other people? True humility comes from understanding your value, capabilities and calling. Furthermore, understanding you only have these things because of God. True humility rests in understanding that these gifts aren’t just meant for yourself, but to serve others.
