Welcome to the Episode 2 of The Clueless Creatives Podcast "Why, why, oh why?".

In this episode I share the journey that I went on in discovering the '7 Why's Principle' , what it actually even is, what the end result was 3 years ago and what I concluded with when I did it again just recently. It's a helpful tool to find out what your passion and purpose is, what you value right now, and what you can work on. 

It provides you with clarity for growth, a target to focus on, and is an eye-opening process that helps you discover the deep reasons for why it is your doing what you're doing, how you can grow, and why you're so passionate about your creative journey.


*** Here's the basic steps ****

Ask yourself why 7 times to get to the deeper answers.

1. Ask why you want to do ...xyz...
   • Respond with the first thing that comes to mind.
2. Then ask why do you want to (and build this questions based off of the answer you gave in question 1).
   • Respond with the first thing that comes to mind.

Continue this process until you hit answer number 7 and by that point the questions should have made you more aware of why it is that you do the things that you do and why it is that you're so passionate about your creative journey. (this can also be used for any other part of life where you search for the deeper answers of situations, relationships, choices, etc.)

Welcome to the Episode 3 of The Clueless Creatives Podcast "Mental Health, Creativity, & Bubble Baths".

In this episode we have our first guest on the show, my lovely wife Danielle Kvick. She is an advocate for mental health, graduate student in Counselling Psychology, and an all around amazing person (she didn't make me write that last one by the way...).

In this episode we open up and talk about mental health, mental well-being, creativity and the inherent struggles with mental health, and my new found love for bubble baths.

We also share with you 2 lifehacks for overcoming & understanding situations that you may face and we share 5 all around mental wellbeing tips.


2 Lifehacks: 

1. When facing moments of anxiety say out loud "I am Excited"
2. Triggers are the windows to self awareness - try to understand them

5 Tips:

1. Self care is vital for your mental well-being
2. Physical activity and nutrition are extremely important
3. Ground yourself in the moment using your 5 senses
4. Crush the 'ANTS' (automatic negative thoughts)
5. Look for professional support when needed

These are all tools that we use all the time and it will help empower you to process through your seasons and to work through your struggles.

As a disclaimer, this is what we have found that has helped us and what Danielle has learned in her life and in her schooling so far. Neither of us are current practicing professionals but we are here to start a conversation and to help give tips and tricks that we use. If you are struggling with mental health and don't know what to do, find the professional support online or in your local area to help you start to process through your mental health and help aid you in your mental health journey.

Thanks to the digital age we all have access to amazing online support and counselling platforms that will help you jumpstart your journey to better mental health.

Welcome to Episode 7 of The Clueless Creatives Podcast "Creative Thankfulness".

In this episode, we unpack the past month for myself and my creative journey and chat mindset and motivation - we take a look at the highs, the lows, and the necessity to remember to be thankful along this creative journey no matter what.

We unpack the mindset difference between PRODUCTION VALUE perspective and OPPORTUNITY VALUE perspective and the little things I've done this month to shift my perspective to the OPPORTUNITY VALUE and to remember all the opportunities that I have and to be thankful for in this crazy creative journey!

Since we're chatting thankfulness I just want to say a big thanks to everyone who has listened so far. It means the world that you have taken the time to listen in and to give feedback and share the podcast with those who you think would benefit from this community.
