🍬 STARBURST VS. MIKE AND IKE: THE ULTIMATE CANDY BATTLE! 🍬

It's a battle to the death on the Comedyville Horror Podcast! Russ and Tosh go head-to-head to defend their favorite chewy candy: Starburst vs. Mike and Ike! 🥊

But before the candy showdown begins, Russ shares a story about a disastrous road trip to his niece's wedding, a blown-out tire, a flat spare, and how the whole ordeal somehow led him to buying a bougie 2011 Buick LaCrosse. Grandma car era has officially begun! 🚗👵

Then it's time to unwrap the candy controversy. From Starburst's individually wrapped fruity goodness and the legendary all-pink package to Mike and Ike's classic flavors, spooky sour varieties, and suspiciously convenient pill-popping appearance, nothing is off-limits. We debate flavors, textures, sticky teeth, Halloween candy, and which candy deserves the crown.

Plus, we dig into the history of both candies, roast the people who answered “Skittles” when asked to choose between Starburst and Mike and Ike, and discover that candy opinions can get surprisingly heated.

🍭 THE BIG QUESTION: Are you Team Starburst or Team Mike and Ike? What's your all-time favorite Halloween candy?

Drop your pick in the comments, give us a like, and subscribe to Comedyville Horror Podcast for more ridiculous debates, questionable stories, and horror-comedy nonsense!

  • Episode 51: Rage Against the Machine!
    Oct 4 2026

Absolutely — this episode is basically Russ vs. technology, passwords, remotes, spiders, and everything else that dares to inconvenience him. 😂

This week on Comedyville Horror Podcast, we officially enter the Russ Raging Era. 😂

From a Fire Stick remote that suddenly stops working, to replacing the entire damn thing and having to remember approximately 47 passwords, technology pushes Russ right to the edge. Then we rage about impossible packaging, verification codes, TVs with whisper-quiet dialogue and commercials loud enough to blow the windows out.

But that's not all! We also get into horror books, nostalgic Halloween commercials, true-crime TV shows taking creative liberties, questionable music tastes, dogs having imaginary conversations, weird dreams, broken TVs, weddings, bizarre encounters, creepy houses, spiders in cars, giant insects, and the eternal question:

Why the fuck is everything so difficult?!

Basically, this is less of a podcast episode and more of a group therapy session for people who are sick of technology. 😂

  • Episode 50: Manos: Hands of Fate (1966)
    Sep 27 2026

This month on Comedyville Horror Podcast, we watched Manos: The Hands of Fate — a 1966 horror movie that may very well be the most confusing, poorly dubbed, awkwardly edited piece of cinema we've ever subjected ourselves to.

What starts as a family road trip turns into a bizarre journey involving Torgo, the mysterious Master, creepy hand imagery, terrible fighting, questionable costumes, a suspiciously useless dog, endless staring at paintings, and enough awkward pauses to make us question whether the movie was actually finished.

We break down the movie's ridiculous plot, bizarre characters, painfully bad dubbing, strange editing, and the infamous pillow knees. We also discuss the movie's unusual origin story and how a fertilizer salesman ended up making one of horror's most notorious films.

Was there anything good about it? The cars were cool. The Master's cloak was pretty badass. And... that's about it.

So grab a drink, prepare to lose a few IQ points, and join us as we ask the most important question of all:

What the fuck did we just watch?

  • Episode 49: Lenny Kravitz can make sweet sweet love to me
    Sep 20 2026

This week on Comedyville Horror Podcast, we somehow manage to cover Lenny Kravitz’s giant dick energy, carnivorous plants, workplace drama, McDonald’s as a weight-loss plan, the Wienermobile, broken Arby’s computers, Dolly Parton, road rage, Walmart rage, witchcraft, accidental porn magazines, AI taking over the world, and why everything costs fucking $20 now.

We kick things off with a brand-new pitcher plant that immediately becomes the inspiration for way too much cock talk, followed by a recap of a Lenny Kravitz concert where apparently every person in the building was sexually attracted to him.

Then we get into workplace bullshit, dealing with mean old ladies, saying “NO” to responsibility, a coworker who apparently discovered that switching from gas-station donuts to McDonald’s is a revolutionary weight-loss strategy, and an unexpected encounter with the legendary Wienermobile.

Add in fast-food disasters, Dolly Parton, terrible drivers, construction-induced road rage, a Walmart meltdown, getting locked out of the house, witchy plans, National Geographic costing sixteen fucking dollars, and a debate over whether AI is eventually going to destroy humanity… and you've got another completely unhinged episode.

No script. No real plan. Just two people talking shit for an hour.

    Welcome to Comedyville. 😂💀

  • Episode 48: Too old to eat Spaghetti Os?
    Sep 13 2026

From He-Man nostalgia to foot fetishes, maggots at McDonald’s, Monster Energy, party buses, creepy truck stops, and the never-ending debate over what the hell people are doing with their feet… this episode goes absolutely everywhere. 😂

We talk about getting older and realizing we’re **way too old for some of the shit we used to do**, our latest movie and documentary obsessions, weird people we’ve encountered, cereal addictions, retail therapy, fitness culture, and a whole lot of completely unnecessary conversations.

Basically, it’s two idiots sitting around talking about everything except what they were supposed to talk about.

**Grab a drink, hit play, and welcome back to Comedyville Horror Podcast — where somehow every conversation ends up at poo-poo and pee-pee.** 💀😂

  • Episode 47: This is the end of summer
    Sep 6 2026

Summer is officially coming to an end, and we're not okay about it. 😂

In this episode of Comedyville Horror Podcast, we say goodbye to summer by talking about everything that makes the season great—and everything we're perfectly happy to leave behind. From day drinking, summer storms, swimming, outdoor movies, drive-ins, summer drinks, mowing the damn lawn, and the eternal war against socks… we cover it all. 🍹🌩️🌽

We also take some seriously weird detours into spam calls, restaurant tipping, questionable swimming holes, lawn envy, keeping your dogs' butts clean, trying to live forever, and a true-crime discussion that gets surprisingly dark. 💀😂

And because this is Comedyville, somehow a conversation about the end of summer turns into poop, prescription drugs, snoring husbands, and whether anyone can actually escape their own mortality.

🍂 Summer may be ending, but Comedyville Horror Podcast isn't going anywhere.

  • Episode 46: Welcome to Derry AND Ash vs Evil Dead (review)
    Aug 30 2026

This week on **Comedyville Horror Podcast**, we’re doing something a little different: we’re putting two horror shows head-to-head after watching their first episodes — **IT: Welcome to Derry** vs. **Ash vs. Evil Dead**!

First up, we dive into **Welcome to Derry**, the creepy prequel to the IT movies. We talk about the new Pennywise, the differences from Tim Curry’s version, the bizarre demon baby, the kids investigating Maddie’s disappearance, the disturbing racism throughout the episode, and that absolutely insane theater scene that ends with a LOT of dead kids. We also somehow spend a shocking amount of time talking about old-school movie projectors, newspaper archives, college textbooks, and how apparently nobody knew how to use the internet back then.

Then we jump into **Ash vs. Evil Dead**, where Bruce Campbell brings back everyone’s favorite chainsaw-wielding idiot. We talk about Ash’s ridiculous lifestyle, his encounter with a Deadite at the bar, the Necronomicon, the creepy cops, the tiny demon doll, Pablo and Kelly joining the chaos, and that gloriously gory chainsaw finale.

So which show wins the battle?

**Welcome to Derry** brings the creepy atmosphere, mystery, trauma, and some seriously WTF moments.

**Ash vs. Evil Dead** brings gore, ridiculousness, one-liners, chainsaws, and exactly the kind of horror-comedy we love.

We give our first-episode ratings, debate which show we’d keep watching, and decide what horror shows we should battle next.

And yes… we also complain about streaming-service commercials, because apparently paying for a subscription isn't enough anymore.

**Subscribe, follow, and let us know: Which one would you pick — Ash vs. Evil Dead or Welcome to Derry?**

And if you didn't enjoy the episode… well, fuck off.
