• Construction Cast Season 9 Episode 3 : Jonathan Cope & Matt Molloy
    Jan 5 2026

Join us for a special episode of Construction Cast when we'll be joined by doyens of construction adjudication; Matt Molloy and Jonathan Cope.

Renowned for their regular column over many years in Practical Law and their work in training adjudicators, the two will join us for a look at their careers, their experience and of course their latest work - the book.

The book (Adjudicating Construction & Engineering Disputes) provides a cradle to grave guide to the process of construction industry adjudication from the perspective of the adjudicator. It covers the whole process of adjudication, from the initial enquiry through case management, the conduct of the proceedings, the production of the Decision and post-Decision matters. The purpose is to provide a resource for aspiring and practising adjudicators, both in the UK and internationally.

With Matt and Jonathan, we'll not only be discussing the book, we'll be taking a wider look at dispute resolution, their careers and hopes for the future. Join us in a few weeks to hear more from the extremely dynamic duo.

We will be looking a few aspects of this topic including:

    - What are the new rules and how did they come about?
    - Onsite gain / offsite gains / offsetting
    - How does it affect you in your field of work?
    - Are the rules different across the country?
    - What methods are available?
    - Do you have to comply and what if you can't comply?
    - Is there greenwashing to be found?
    - Existing / conflicting rules
