Key Takeaways:
- Astrology as a liberatory tool: Leslie uses astrology not for prediction or personality typing, but as a tool for liberation—helping changemakers reclaim identity, purpose, and impact in their life and business.
- Decolonizing = reconnecting, not shaming: Colonization separated people from land, culture, values, and identity; decolonizing is the process of reconnecting to those things, including reframing “shameful” placements as real sources of power.
- Your chart is your brand guideline: Leslie’s AstroBrand™ method treats your natal chart like a brand blueprint—informing your voice, visuals, positioning, and business model so you stop guessing and copying trends.
- Water leadership is powerful (and undervalued): Emotional labor, intuition, nurturing, and care (strong Cancer/Scorpio/Pisces energy) are fundamental leadership qualities, even though patriarchal, extractive systems have devalued them.
- Who interprets holds the power: With only 21 traditionally published astrology books by women of color, Leslie highlights how crucial it is to diversify who we read and learn from, because the interpreter shapes meaning, power, and possibility.
